Caregiver Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities:

·        Simple food preparation: includes cooking, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and other errands.

·        General health care: overseeing medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders and administering medicine.

·        Mobility assistance: help with getting in and out of a wheelchair, car or shower.

·        Transportation: including getting in and out of wheelchair-accessible vehicles, travelling to and from activities, and running errands.

·        Being a steady companion and supporter in all areas pertaining to one’s personal life, health, and emotions.

·        Home organization: basic housekeeping and cleaning assistance, packing assistance, or assistance with preparations for a trip.

·        Health monitoring: following a care plan and noticing any changes in the individual’s health, recording and reporting.

Essential Skills of a Caregiver:

·        Empathy, or the willingness to consider the feelings of their clients and treat people with respect.

·        Problem-solving skills.

·        An ability to think on their feet and adapt to a patient’s needs, especially if they have specific conditions (such as cardiovascular issues that could lead to a heart attack or disorders like Alzheimer’s disease).

Qualifications:

·        Preference: Health Sector such as Nurse, Midwife and Health Care Assistants.

·        NVQ Level 3

·        Over all IELTS score of 5.0(added qualification)

·        At least 1-year relevant experience (Elderly).

·        Must have good spoken and written English.

·        Must be open to work shifts.

·        Driving License

Contract Duration: 2 years
