Warehouse Operators Full Time

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Receiving and Inspecting Goods:

Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the items against the accompanying documentation.

Inspect goods for damages and report any discrepancies.

·         Stock Management:

Organize and maintain inventory in an efficient manner.

Use inventory management systems to track stock levels and movements.

Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.

·         Order Picking and Packing:

Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from designated locations.

Pack and label orders according to company standards.

Prepare goods for shipping.

·         Loading and Unloading:

Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from trucks.

Ensure proper handling and stacking of items to prevent damage during transportation.

·         Equipment Operation:

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Conduct routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions.

·         Quality Control:

Monitor product quality during the receiving and packing process.

Identify and report any quality issues to the appropriate personnel.

·         Health and Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

·         Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Document any inventory discrepancies and report them to the supervisor.

·         Communication:

Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

Report any issues or concerns promptly.

·         Housekeeping:

Keep the warehouse clean and organized.

Dispose of waste and packaging materials appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.

·         Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

·         Basic computer skills for using inventory management systems.

·         Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

·         Stamina for long periods of standing and walking.

·         Keen attention to detail for accurate inventory management and order fulfillment.

·         Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.

·         Effective verbal and written communication skills.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
